Each Dawn Is A New Beginning

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23

Every sunrise is a quiet sermon. Before you speak a word, make a decision, or take a step, God has already declared something over your life: “You get to begin again.”

Yesterday’s mistakes, worries, or weariness don’t carry the authority to define today. God’s mercy rises with the sun—fresh, unspent, and perfectly sized for whatever this day will hold.

What a new dawn means for you

  • New mercy — God doesn’t recycle yesterday’s grace; He gives you brand‑new compassion for today.
  • New strength — You don’t have to bring your own. God supplies what you lack.
  • New direction — Even if yesterday felt confusing, God lights the path one step at a time.
  • New hope — The night may have been long, but dawn always comes.

A simple prayer for this morning

Lord, thank You for the gift of a new beginning. Wash away the weight of yesterday and fill me with Your mercy, strength, and hope. Help me walk into this day with a renewed heart and a steady trust in You. Amen.

Lay Christian Counselor and Christian Life Coach

Peg Franz

Together, these two roles create a powerful blend of healing and growth. Counseling helps address the past; coaching helps shape the future. Both rely on God’s wisdom, compassion, and guidance. A Lay Christian Counselor and Life Coach doesn’t claim to have all the answers—they simply walk beside others as God does His transforming work.

At its core, this calling is about helping people experience the fullness of Christ’s promise: healing for yesterday, strength for today, and purpose for tomorrow.
